Every class included a syllabus of available materials, a contact address for the teacher, and and other useful information and was available upon registration.
ADMISSION:
MEMBERSHIP in Ecumenicon Fellowship is included in the Price of Admission, so don’t let that put you off !!! Annual dues start May 1 and run through next year’s conference, so what you pay now, you save later. Go to the bottom of this page for conference fees.
ANCESTOR ALTAR
We started an Ancestor Altar for those who have passed within our Ecumenicon community. Names remembered included Bear, Manos Clemens, Paul Cunzeman, Merrill Corkum, Bobbi Dresser, Richard Eney (Diccon Frankborn), Rabbi David Honigsberg, Abraham Kooiman, Rosemary Kooiman HPS, Susan Petry, George Rawlings, Jo Roussey, Te. If you know other names, please forward them to us. We will always have an ancestor shroud with symbols of remembrance made by all participants.
TESTS OF ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT (TOADs)
We began to institute our testing program in our movement toward academic excellence and CEU accreditation. Every class has a minimum of 5 questions that one should be able to answer upon completion. We will be continuing with this throughout 2008 and 2009. We may have a hall set aside for this purpose next year.
CREDITS FOR CLASSES Remember that if you are a member of Ecumenicon Fellowship, you can get credits for any class taken at any Ecumenicon affiliate organizations normal meetings (such as Cedar Light Grove, Crossroads, or Rising Sun) or public events (such as Beltaine on the Mall, Interfaith Seder, Ancestor Circle, Darkover). To receive credit, ask the organizer of the event for a signed letter of attendance and turn in a test of at least 5 questions to Ecumenicon Fellowship for accreditation.
ACADEMIC ADVISORS
This year we are offering the services of Academic Advisors to help you choose the best value for your long-term goals. Appointments are available for Thursday afternoon starting at 3:00 pm. This session is the equivalent of “So This is Your First Ecumenicon” offered Friday and Saturday but is a one-to-one session.
