This is a Conference Center and former estate in a secluded setting run by Montgomery County about a mile from Great Falls, MD in Potomac. The park consists of a manor house, 3 houses with keyed rooms, and four dormer houses (60) with secure storage. All showers are accessible, all bathtubs have removable HC chairs. All buildings are navigable by carts and there is an elevator in the manor house for both main floors.
The grounds include a nature walk and manicured lawns, gazebo, beautiful arbor, fire circle, and nature sanctuary.

PLEASE NOTE - There is no public transportation that goes from anywhere around DC to Rockwood Manor. The closest Metro stop is Bethesda, from which you could take a cab. If you need a ride, please post your request to chazzer3332000@yahoo.com and we will try to find someone from your area.
FROM PARTS NORTH OF DC ON I-95.
1) Take I-95 south to DC Beltway (I-495). Watch for signs to I-495 West toward Silver Spring. Stay in the far right lane. Route 1 will split to the left, stay in the right.
2) Continue on I-495 and get into one of the center lanes and stay to the left. I-270 will split off to the right around Rockville. Stay on I-495 by staying to the LEFT.
3) Watch for signs to Exit 41, Carderock - Clara Barton Parkway. Take the exit toward Great Falls, MD.
4) Once on Carderock go 1 mile to the T-intersection. Turn LEFT toward Great Falls, MD.
5) Go 2 miles and watch for the sign for Rockwood Manor Conference Center (past Woodrock). There will be signs up for Ecumenicon so look for them on Thursday afternoon.
6) See you there.
FROM THE SOUTH (VIRGINIA)
1) Take I-495 west toward Maryland.
2) As soon as you cross the Legionnaire Bridge get into the right land and take the exit to Carderock (Exit 41).
3) Once on Carderock go 1 mile to the T-intersection. Turn LEFT toward Great Falls, MD.
4) Go 2 miles and watch for the sign for Rockwood Manor Conference Center (past Woodrock). There will be signs up for Ecumenicon so look for them on Thursday afternoon.
5) See you there.

From DC (two possibilities)
1) Take M Street NW extended until it becomes Clara Barton Parkway. (you may need to check for times of day and rush hours).
2) Continue beyond I-495 where it will become Carderock Road.
3) Come to a T-Intersection (this is MacArthur Blvd, it is NOT marked), turn left toward Great Falls, MD
4) Follow about 1 mile past the signs to Woodrock on your right, the next center is Rockwood Manor (small sign on your right), turn in and park.
5) Manor House is where registration is (the large building to your left)
6) See you there.
