Bear Former Logistics Coordinator. Husband of Te. Bear was a friend to all, gruff and ready, but eager to help. Active in Ecumenicon Fellowship and Free Spirit Alliance.

Cherokee Elder, Upper Chesapeake Council of the Good Medicine Society, Native Faith Representative for FCI Cumberland and Jessup Correctional Facility. Passed from cancer, 10/3/2011, 4:00 am at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Rev. Amy Beth PAUL, Blessing Bird is survived by two sisters, Shelle O’Neill of Hamberg, PA and Janet Geschwindt of Port Carbon, PA; one niece, one nephew, one great niece and friends too numerous to name. She is of Cherokee heritage and was a Medicine Woman in the Good Medicine Society of Arkansas. She was founder of a chapter in Havre de Grace. Blessing Bird was very active in the Native community as well as in Harford County. Her Pow Wows are missed by many. She was much loved and respected and will be greatly missed.

A pagan, priest, author, scholar, bard and activist, in 1983 he co-founded Ar nDraiocht Fein: A Druid Fellowship (also known as ADF), one of the largest druid organisations in America with groves in every state, and associated members all around the world. Passed to the ancestors August 12, 2010.

Father of Charles Butler Neto, 12/24/2010, Rev. Butler was an itinerant preacher in Methodist, Presbyterian, and Pentecostal Holiness denominations. He traveled to Brazil extensively, living in Annapolis, Goiania, and the Rio Negro Agricultural Colony north of Manuas. He preached in Brasilia, and finished his last tour in Salvador, Bahia. He worked with several churches as interim pastors when they were making decisions on how to close down their ministries, and was living in Hazard during the great flood of 1958. He was a circuit rider for the Northumberland Mission in Burgess, Virginia, in 1959, where he drew the attention of the Ku Klux Klan for his welcoming positions on humankind.

Elder Teacher at Ecumenicon 1999. Lady Circe, as Toledoans the last 35 years knew Jeffrey B. Cather, who was a shop owner, a witch, and founder and queen of a church, the Sisterhood & Brotherhood of the Old Religion, died Sunday in her Old West End home of respiratory failure. She was 82. 5th-Generation Witch.
Manos Clemens Musician - could play by ear anything he heard once. Pianist and music director for MCC - Northern Virginia for 8 years. Inspiration for According to Us, the musical presented by A Company of Strangers theatre ministry.
Merrill Corkum Born 1942, died 1/10/1999. Poet, scholar, teacher, and actor. Taught at Ecumenicon 2001. Active in teaching literacy to the poor of DC. Inspiration to A Company of Strangers where he originated the role of Nick, the professor who had lost his memory. Lived in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

Tami Cox Served as EMT at Ecumenicon for many years. Native American Two Spirit, proud of her heritage. She died suddenly of a heart attack on Thursday, January 28, 2010.
Paul Cunzeman Teacher and Psychic. Paul was one of the founders of Menhir, a study group for spiritual Gay Men and was active in Assembly of the Sacred Wheel. Born January 1954, died October 1995.

Deaf Activist, Healer, phenomenal friend. Dudley was the Deaf Liaison for interpreters for Ecumenicon Interfaith Conference. He spent the past year of his life as a Trustee of the Fellowship. Passed November 27, 2011, 10:30 pm surrounded by his family.
Christl Dangelmaier Rik Fire’s mother. Died unexpectedly. Supported Rik in his many transitions.
Swami Prem Deben Teacher. Taught at Ecumenicon 1 in Arlington, and at Ecumenicon 5 in Washington, DC. He was a long-term teacher of Buddhist spirituality, and a true guru.
Lady Ingrid Dennison Witch Queen. Lady Ingrid was an Elder of Ravenwood and teacher of Alexandrian Wicca for many years in the Washington area.

Kevin Drewery
Known as Midian - passed this life from complication of HIV in 2009. Show here with friend Inge, Midian was Religious Education coordinator for the Unitarian-Universalist Church of Silver Spring, working with the children and youth program. He also served at UU Las Vegas, NV, and was active in southern California. He created the Sacristan program for Ecumenicon. His memorial service at UUCSS was held in November 2009. Light a candle and pray to connect with him, and with all our prayers for those who continue to suffer from this disease. August 6, 2010.
Diccon Frankborn (Richard Eney) departed on Yule, December 21, 2006. His memorial service was held on March 9, 2007 at Paint Branch Unitarian Church. Diccon was active in the State Department, the Society for Creative Anachronism, and many spiritual communities. Husband of Tamar Lindsay.
Gargoyle departed on February 24, 2009 in the arms of his owners, being released to the Goddess. Gargoyle was the companion cat of Robert and Sandra McGann for the past 14 years. He was suffering with multiple growths on his esophagus and was in constant pain.
Rev. Elder Jerri-Ann Harvey of Metropolitan Community Church, the first Cherokee woman to be ordained to any Christian denomination. She died of HIV complications in Spain in 2008. She was an inspiration to members of both Nomadic Chantry and Ecumenicon Fellowship.
Rabbi David Honigsberg Teacher for Ecumenicon, Sacred Space, and Etheracon religious education conventions. Deeply rooted in Jewish spirituality and teacher of Kabbalistic traditions. Died of a heart attack in 2007. Active in Judaic and SF communities.
Richard Hood Pagan Elder and Sweat Master.
Thomas E. Hufford (Balu) Conducted the Cleansing Sacred Space ritual for Ecumenicon for many years. He participated in the Tambors as the Giant Orisha Oggun. He served as Ecumenicon’s webmaster for 3 years. In 1994 he met his high priestess (Seanara) who introduced him to Western Transformational Wicca. On November 28, 2009 they were married at Darkover Science Fiction surrounded by friends. He passed over from the complications of colon cancer on Sunday, November 29, 2009. He will be sorely missed. SSgt. U.S. Army (Retired) Thomas Eddie Hufford was a veteran of 20 years of service including Vietnam veteran. Auditor (Civilian), U.S. Army Audit Agency. BSIS, Kansas State University. Memorial service with military honors was held at Arlington National Cemetery, at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2009, which would have been his 62nd birthday.
Sylvia Kalb Sylvia was born on April 12, 1930 and passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2010. She was a psychic teacher and godmother to many in the greater Baltimore area. She was the head of Baltimore Spiritual Science church.
Leigh Ann Kappeney Leigh Ann was a member of A Company of Strangers and performed with us in Mt. Airy at St. Paul’s Episcopal church in 2011. She passed on Friday, March 9, from cancer.
Abraham Kooiman Husband of Rosemary Kooiman, father of Kathleen Egbert, grandfather of Larry Obern. Buried at Arlington Cemetery, Purple Heart Veteran, one of the first with a pentacle on his tombstone.

Celtic scholar, speaker of many languages, and teacher at Ecumenicon for many years. Passed suddenly May 28, 2010. an was laid to rest with her husband at Arlington Cemetery on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2007 in a private ceremony. His spouse and companion of many years, Black Lotus (Len Rosenberg) joined him in the Summerland in October of 2010.
Rosemary Kooiman Rosemary Kooiman was laid to rest with her husband at Arlington Cemetery on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2007 in a private ceremony. When you have a chance, go to Arlington Cemetery and pay homage to her during the Samhain and Beltaine seasons. One of the four co-founders of Ecumenicon Fellowship. Buried at Arlington Cemetery, the first wife of a veteran to have a Pentacle on her tombstone.
